Belden/Redland Brick uses the term "size" to describe the shape, purpose, and dimensions of a brick. Some sizes include actual measurements (ie: "Paver, 2-1/4 X 3-5/8 X 7-5/8"). This type of size not only describes the primary use of the brick, but gives precise dimensions. Some sizes use categorical terminology to describe a brick's structure (ie: "Williamsburg"). In this case, the brick is comparable to the type of brick used in a classical home in Williamsburg, PA. While dimensions are not given, this size provides a precise, proprietary dimension that can be used to purchase brick.
